Taylor Swift previously poured about ” she is a huge fan of Post Malone because of the writer’s skill and his musical experimentation”.
Post Malone is rocking a new aesthetic, but just for a fortnight.
The singer, 28, covered all his tattoos to play ;the role of Taylor’s lover in her the new music video ” Fortnight” collaboration. The track is the lead single for Swift’s album The Tortured Poets Department which recently released on 19th April Friday.
Before released of Taylor Swift’s new album ,she said in an Instagram post, ” The first single from the Tortured Poets Department is…….. Fortnight featuring @Post Malone, I’ve been such a huge fan of Post because of the writer he is , his musical experimentation and those melodies he creates that just stick in your head forever. I got to witness that magic come to life firsthand when we worked together on Fortnight. Honestly can’t wait for you guys to hear this song at Midnight TONIGHT and see the video at 8 pm ET Tomorrow “.
Taylor Swift also shows another side of herself in opening scenes of one video, Replicas of Post Malone’s tattoo ;appear on her face as she sings, “And for a fortnight there, we were forever ;Run into you sometimes, ask about the weather ;Now you’re in my backyard, turned into good neighbors /Your wife waters flowers, I wanna kill her.”
While Taylor steps into another room and start working on typewriter, her face tattoos disappeared, finally fans get a glance of Post working on his typewriter sitting across from her.
After the streams of blue and pink start coming out of each of their typewriters, they form a bright spark. After that Swift seems to reading Post Malone, with no tattoos on his face as they lie in the middle of an empty road.
